The Team

Barnaby Rhodes

Child Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist

Barnaby previously ran the psychoanalytic psychotherapist service of CAMHS in the Airedale and Craven area for the past three years. He specialises in working with adolescents, providing supervision and consultation across both health and social care services.

Barney now works directly into secondary schools, providing education-specific assessment and intervention alongside SEN teams. It is in this area that he has developed a greater understanding of the education setting and the mental health challenges that staff are facing within the education setting everyday. This is where the need for support and framework was established and Peaces was born born.

The Team

Dr Kate Dutton

Senior Clinical Psychologist

Kate is a Senior Clinical Psychologist who has worked in the NHS for over 20 years. After 8 years of training at Leicester University and achieving her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, Kate worked initially for two years in Nottingham, working within the Child Development Centre at City Hospital with children with additional needs and complex disabilities.

Kate also offered staff supervision and team support. As part of this Community Psychology Service, Kate also delivered psychological assessments and therapy for children and adolescents within two socio-economically deprived community areas of Nottingham.
